Love these. I have had mine for a few years. They are starting to wear out. Would like to order a new pair in this same color and style, but can only order them in size 6. I need size 11. Sad!
I love my new Friendly Shoes. I love how the zipper is only on one side of the shoes. It’s discreet and the style of the shoe isn’t lost by its functionality. I think I’ve found my new favorite shoes to wear with my plastic leg braces. I’ve tried others, but Friendly Shoes are very unassuming and no one knows that they are designed for my special needs.
These are great sneakers. Since they are almost solid black they work for wearing to church too. Unfortunately they are very easy to kick off. I am hoping I can get elastic bands to wrap around them to keep them on better. Thin enough elastic that they won't be noticed when walking on them. My daughter had elastic like this for her dance shoes.
Next time I order shoes for my son, I hope you will have another black zipper sneaker that comes up higher on the ankle so it won't kick off so easily.
I ordered black shoes and was sent white shoes. They were clearance so I could not return. Company said I ordered white but no confirmation was ever sent. They acknowledged they no longer had the black and how conveniently they shipped the white and won’t allow return. Very frustrating!!!
I ordered these shoes for my husband to use after he was fitted with an AFO. The unique zipper design allows him to more easily put on his shoes. However, the zipper is definitely stiff and sticks. I put some WD-40 on the zipper and it helped the zipper move better.
Love these shoes my son's favorite lasted almost the entire school yr so I bought him 2 more of these styles they are stretchy and lightweight work wonderful for his afos thank you so much for making these great shoes

I haven't been able to wear the same sneakers on both feet for 5 years . Because i had severe foot drop in my left foot that has been corrected now and with these shord i can wear the same shoe on both feet . The colors are great and goes with almost everything

Shoes fit perfect. Ordered the same size I always wear. AFO fit perfect in one shoe and the other shoe fit very nice.
These shoes are great if your child doesn’t already have extra wide feet and then also needs to wear ankle braces. The braces didn’t fit in the shoes. But I kept the shoes because it’s nice to have extra shoes that fit even without the braces because it’s hard to even find shoes that fit his giant feet without his braces.
Very comfortable shoe. Makes putting on over AFO much easier. Would recommend for sure!
So I bought these on a whim. And Holy Moly these are comfortable, stylish enough that I feel like wearing them. These are the type of shoes that you chase down toddlers. Or the type of shoes you chase your dreams with. whatever floats your boat!

These shoes work well with the AFO brace, as I recover from a broken ankle. Customer service is phenomenal, I really can't thank them enough!

My mother has rheumatoid foot (toes on top of each other on one foot) so it's difficult to find shoes. These shoes were SO much easier to put on and my mother did not complain about them hurting her (like all her other shoes now). Thank you very much! We actually ordered another Friendly pair too to match her other outfits.
